Rádio Ecclésia
Rádio Ecclésia is the only independent radio station in Angola. In the course of the years the stations has developed into the only sincerely independent voice of Angola.
Bringing radio to the provinces, they have built a bridgehead between inhabitants of the countryside and the capital, Luanda. Neither groups are aware of the others worlds, but by making programs in the provinces and broadcasting them from Luanda, this hiatus is closed.
We follow the Ecclésia convoy to M’Banza in the northern province of Zaire where they set up a local radio transmitter, tarin local journalists and conduct workshops. Since Ecléssia is not sanctioned by the government to make or broadcast programs from the provinces, the tension is high until the last moment; will they stay on air, or will they be closed down by the authorities.
